Privacy Policy — OlympPrep

OlympPrep ("the app", "we", "us", "our") is published by RG Labs. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using OlympPrep you agree to this policy.

1. Who this app is for

OlympPrep is an exam-preparation app for students. It is intended to be used by students aged 13 and above, or by younger students under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly target or collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental involvement.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data.

3. How we use your information

To provide and personalise the learning experience.
To save and sync your progress across sessions and devices.
To analyse usage so we can improve the app.
To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
To process and manage optional premium subscriptions.

4. Third-party services we use

The app relies on these trusted providers, each with its own privacy policy:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Remote Config) — stores your profile/progress and provides analytics and crash reporting. Firebase Privacy
RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements and purchase validation. RevenueCat Privacy
Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases. Google is the seller of record for purchases.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the app's features. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your profile and progress from our cloud database. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email below.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. We rely on Google Firebase's industry-standard security infrastructure to protect data at rest.

8. Children's privacy

OlympPrep is designed to be safe for students. It contains no ads and no user-to-user communication. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Use the in-app delete option or contact us to exercise these rights.

10. Disclaimer

OlympPrep is an independent preparation app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) or any other Olympiad organiser.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
